As a little girl Jennifer’s mom would call her Juniper and the name became special to her. Then when it came time to name her business she knew she wanted Juniper somewhere in the name. This inspiration is what brought Juniper Home Designs to life.

Jennifer’s Dad was actually the first one to encourage her to pursue interior design. He loves to tell the story about her always rearranging the furniture and decor in her room when she was a little girl. From a young age design was in her heart and he knew it would lead to something special.

Jennifer attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. After changing her major from psychology freshman year, she graduated from the CIDA accredited program with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design.

After college she lived in Lexington, KY for a short time where she worked as a designer at a nationally franchised furniture store. Then after she moved back home to Georgia she worked at Platinum Kitchens & Design, Inc. for eight years designing over 600 kitchens in that time. She very much enjoyed working for that company and the skills she learned there gave her the confidence to start her own design business.

Jennifer lives on Lake Lanier with her boyfriend, cat and dog. They enjoy traveling, winter sports, lake activities and doing numerous projects around their home. They completed a full home remodel in 2022 which is featured in her portfolio. You won’t believe the before and after pictures from this 1972 home.

Jennifer loves creating a relationship with her clients to turn their existing home into their dream home. By combining functionality with personalized designs each space fits the needs for the specific client making the space truly their own.
